Using pinch pot hand-building techniques, make a collection of your favourite animals including dogs, cats, rabbits and more. This workshop is open to anyone ages 15 years and over or for kids ages 6 to 15 years to participate with a parent or carer.
Full instruction is provided on materials, products, tools, equipment and studio procedures.
Intimate class size: maximum 12 students
Level: designed for beginner level students.
Wear: comfortable clothing and enclosed shoes (aprons provided).
Bring: yourself – all materials provided
We use non-toxic inks and non-toxic cleaning products and methods wherever possible.
Tutor: Hayley West
Hayley is a maker, teacher and designer. She has a BA Fine Arts from UNSW Art & Design, and a BA Interior and Spatial design (first class honours) from UTS. During her successful interior design career Hayley co-founded multidisciplinary design partnership Smith and Carmody. Since shifting her focus to art she has worked as a ceramic technician and a tutor for both adults’ and children’s classes. Hayley currently teaches at numerous venues across Sydney.
$25 per Child/Adult
All children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by a ticket-holding adult.
Bookings can be cancelled up to 14 days prior to the commencement of your course. Cancellations made after this will not be refunded.
